Mumbai Indians Player List – New Arrivals
Mumbai Indians broke the bank for all-rounder Cameron Green in the IPL 2023 mini auction. The franchise paid a whopping Rs 17.5 crore to secure the services of the Aussie, who was outstanding with the bat during the T20I series in India. The MI fans will be hopeful that Green will fill the void left by Kieron Pollard.
Jhye Richardson will be keen to impress in the blue jersey after a disappointing outing for Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021 season. The tall pacer’s presence is a big boost to the franchise’s fast bowling unit, which has Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer, who are likely to feature in the 16th edition. The MI IPL squad features a few uncapped domestic pacers too.

Cameron Green became the second most expensive player in the franchise history after MI splashed Rs 17.5 crore for the 23-year-old. With 118 runs at a strike rate of 214, Green was the top scorer in the three-match T20I series against India. He is an integral part of the Australia squad in all three formats.
Mumbai Indians spent Rs 1.5 crore to seal Jhye Richardson’s signature. The Aussie has plenty of T20 experience and is no stranger to Indian conditions. He has consistently performed in the Big Bash League in the last few seasons and is among four Australian players in the MI team 2023 player list.
