India, the host nation, has dominated the T20I series against Bangladesh so far, winning the first two matches and securing the series with one match to go. After a dismal performance in the Test series, Bangladesh again has shown no fight in the T20I series, losing both matches by a fair margin.
Only the third match remains, which will be played in Hyderabad on 12th October. The Bangladesh team has a big task ahead of it if it has to avoid a humiliating whitewash. Conversely, India has all the momentum, and with boys looking in an aggressive frame of mind, Bangladesh will find it hard to stop the dominant hosts.

The game was over in the 12th, showcasing the batting prowess of the Indian team. Hardik Pandya was the highest run scorer for India, scoring 39 runs in just 16 balls. India won the match comfortably by 7 wickets and with 49 balls to spare.

2nd T20 – India Won by 86 Runs
Bangladesh had to win the 2nd T20I to stay alive in the series, and the team decided to bowl first in the crucial encounter.
Indian batters started the innings positively, but the team struggled after losing 3 wickets for just 41 runs. Rinku Singh and Nitish Reddy joined hands to build a formidable partnership of 108 runs off just 49 balls. Nitish Reddy freed up after receiving a free hit, while Rinku Singh batted freely. Quick knocks from Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag propelled team India to 221. Nitish Reddy scored the top with 74 runs off just 34 balls.
In reply, Bangladesh started positively, scoring 14 runs off the first over. Indian bowlers soon corrected their line and lengths to pick regular wickets. Mahmudullah was the lone warrior for Bangladesh, scoring 41 runs. Indian bowlers picked up wickets from the other end, restricting Bangladesh to just 135, and securing an 86-run win.
Nitish Reddy, for his 2 wickets and 74 runs, was named the player of the match.
What to Expect from 3rd T20I?
Team India looks dominant and far superior to the Bangladesh team. If Bangladesh has to avoid a washout, all the players will have to bat, bowl, and field with great intent, and that still might not be enough.
With this series win, India has secured yet another T20 series win in India. All Indian players seem confident and are playing aggressively. It will be hard for the Bangladesh team to stop Team India’s momentum. India is expected to win the 3rd match of the T20I series, and the only thing to look out for is if the Bangladesh team fights this time.
Final Thoughts
The Indian team is on a high after comprehensively winning the first two matches of the three-match T20I series. The only way for Bangladesh to avoid a whitewash is for the Indian team to take the third match lightly. If the Indian team maintains the same intensity, a humiliating whitewash is on the cards.
