Team India is ready for Sri Lanka tour. India will travel to Sri Lanka for three T20Is and three ODIs. The tour will begin with a three-match T20 series starting on July 27. With this tour, a new era will begin in Team India. The new head coach Gautam Gambhir will take over his responsibilities with this tour. With senior players Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja announcing their retirement for T20s, new players will get a chance.
Surya Kumar Yadav is the New T20I Captain
BCCI has already announced the Indian teams for this tour. Hardik Pandya has been removed from T20 captaincy and handed over to Suryakumar Yadav. Chosen Shubman Gill as vice captain. Gautam Gambhir’s marked decisions were seen in the selection of teams.
After the T20 World Cup victory, all the rested players re-entered and the boys who played on the tour of Zimbabwe were expelled. Abhishek Sharma, Ruthuraj Gaikwad, Dhruv Jurel, Mukesh Kumar, Tusshar Deshpande and Avesh Khan have joined the team with Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Akshar Patel, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj.
