Defending champions Gujarat Titans, owned by CVC Capital Partners, retained their core players from last season. Overseas players Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz were traded to Kolkata Knight Riders. Meanwhile, released players include Jason Roy, Varun Aaron, Dominic Drakes, and Gurkeerat Singh.

IPL Auction Gujarat Titans Players – Expensive Buys
Shivam Mavi was Gujarat Titans’ costliest buy in Kochi. The fast bowler, who picked up 14 wickets in seven outings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022, was bought for Rs 6 crore. He has 30 scalps to his name in IPL.
With Rs 4.4 cr, Joshua Little became the franchise’s second-most expensive signing. Gujarat Titans faced competition from Lucknow Super Giants for the 23-year-old.
Kane Williamson was bought for his base price of Rs 2 crore, making him Gujarat Titans’ third-highest purchase in the auction. Though the Kiwi batter struggled last season, he is expected to play a pivotal role in Gujarat Titans‘ batting department in the 16th edition.
